WHY ON LINE ORDERING?

When ordering an appraisal online, only the basic information is required. As a matter of fact you might find online ordering is faster than a fax transmission. You only fill out the information in the line on the order form with the red asterisks. You will be able to print the form and get an acknowledgement back upon acceptance.

MEETING OF THE MINDS

At a recent meeting of appraisal software developers and loan offices a poll was taken. The loan officer were asked what was their biggest issues with appraisers. They listed all the standard things -- finding appraisers in other states and outlying areas, getting the appraiser to tell them that they have received the appraisal order, playing daily phone tag with the appraisers. The the loan officers were shown how the new online web based ordering system.

As they were shown how to use the system, they realized how quick the system was to utilize. The time savings over the next several weeks -- no phone tags, no wondering if the appraiser got the order, no finding out at the last minute that the order just fell through the cracks, ect., they overwhelmingly agreed. In fact, near the end of the meeting, when told it would take a couple of weeks to get them set up, they were very disappointed. They wanted to start using the system right away.
